LYNN UPTGRAFT - FOUNDER, LICENSED DENTAL HYGIENIST (L.D.H.)
I am a licensed dental hygienist with over 30 years' experience in dental hygiene, dental assisting, and office management. I graduated from dental assisting school in 1985, upon which I began working as a dental assistant and front office hygiene coordinator. I then graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1990 with a dental hygiene degree. Since, I have been a dental hygienist, working with various dental software, and establishing continuing care programs for new and developing offices all around Indianapolis. Including scheduling and coordinating front and back office duties. Now I am providing a training program for you, which includes hands-on learning with the tools, equipment, and computer software to develop your skills for today's dentistry.
DENISE MCDONALD - EXPANDED FUNCTION DENTAL ASSISTANT (E.F.D.A.), CLINICAL DIRECTOR
My name is Denise McDonald and I teach the Expanded Dental Assistant curriculum for Dental Office Training. I have 40 years of working experience in the field of dentistry. I attended J. Everett Light Career Center in 1974, where I received my Dental Assistant’s certificate. In 1980 I received my certification in Expanded Functions from I.U. School of Dentistry. I am currently working in the field and continue to look for ways to further my knowledge in every aspect of dentistry. Teaching has given me the ability to give back to the dental community here in Indianapolis, to help produce well-educated and trained dental assistants.
Nadine Jordan - Clinical Administrator/Instructor
My name is Nadine Jordan. I have been in dentistry for over 25 years as an expanded functions dental assistant. Over the years, I have developed a strong professional history within the dental field utilizing patient management, time management, clinical and front office skills, HR processes and marketing. Recently I have expanded my leadership skills with coaching development in patient partnerships, peer to peer coaching and performance management. My goal is helping create a positive team culture that will help our students succeed in their future dental careers. Along with keeping a healthy lifestyle, I enjoy spending time with my three adult children, and like to dabble in interior design projects.

I have always had a passion for teaching and my profession and making my team around me better. I grew up in Ohio and moved to Indiana about 6 years ago. I have been in dentistry for over 10 years as a Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. I have been very fortunate to to work with dentist’s who also enjoy teaching. I am truly passionate about dentistry and am grateful to be in the profession.
DANA RUSSELL
Dana is our instructor for our front office administration training course. Dana Russell has been in dentistry since 1990. Having worked in all positions in a dental office, both general and specialty, Dana is well versed in how an office needs to function and the needs of those who work there. With experience in clinical and management, Dana uses proven systems and protocols to tailor growth and office management to your needs.
Dana has been in dental office management since 2006 and holds the distinction of Fellow of the American Association of Dental Office Managers.
